Weigh in day!

ok..it has been 1 week since I started living my life the Fast 5 way and I now weigh 176.1 for a loss of 1.3 lbs..It is not bad at all since I still eat what my family eats for supper.I do notice that my appetite has changed alot and I get full on just a quarter of what I used to eat.

I am still working on being more consistent with my weight workouts which on try to do on Monday,Wednesday and Fridays but sometimes I do forget .But I still do my Gazelle at least 6 days a week for 60 minutes a day.

Yesterday I had 2 tortillas with taco meat and sour cream, Bleu Cheese and Bacon Cheeseburgers but could only eat one of those and a cup of coffee with skinny creamer.Also the coffee had coconut oil that I added to it.I read up on the benefits of CO for health and weight loss and I was hooked!

When I am not in my window I drink water,herbal tea & diet soda.

I can really see me living my life this way and it is getting easier to do.It's doable when no food is off limits so you don't have a urge to cheat or feel like you are missing something by cutting out certain treats.

I want  to start making healthier choices in my window and even though I am going to be making better food choices,knowing that I can also have any food that I want actually keeps me on the straight and narrow.

The rest of yesterday- day # 5 went well.Did 60 minutes on my Gazelle and also did some weights.

When my window first opened I had 2 tacos,had some turkey chili for dinner with some bread and butter and a nutty ice cream cone as a snack before my window closed.

I did tweek my window some and now it is 2 pm to 7 pm which is a better fit for me I think.

Day 5

Still doing pretty good.Yesterday had pasta with veggies,chicken and mixed it with Philly Cooking Cream.Also when my window first opened I had 2 tacos left over from another supper.

I still am not really starving like I thought I would be and when my window opens I don't go gungho for food so that is a good thing I think.I acually feel more lighter and free from not thinking about food choices constantly.

Now to work on drinking more water...xD

Will be weighing myself on Thursday which will be 1 week for me.

Exercise!

I also forgot to add that I also exercise almost everyday.Nothing outragous,just about 45 minutes on my Gazelle.

I figure every little bit helps!

Hello there!

This is my first post...yay!

Just wanted to say that this blog is about my experiences with the Fast 5 lifestyle (don't like the word "diet").

For those of you that don't know about Fast 5 you can check out their website for tons of info but in a nutshell you basically have a eating window that is 5 hours long.You are fasting the remaining time.My window is 1 pm to 6 pm but I also will move it as needed as it suits me for holidays and such.

It is not a fad or unhealthy for you but based on scientific research and studies.

This way of eating is so freeing because I am not constantly thinking about food and surprisingly I am not as hungry as I thought I would be.Now you don't lose weight quickly but at a average of 1 to 2 lbs a week but it could be more or could be less depending on the person.

You are not restricting ANY food or the amounts which means you don't feel the urge to cheat and oddly enough I notice that I am starting to feel full with less after only 4 days on it.

Yesterday I had tacos for supper and a ice cream cone later for a snack
